Description
The Covetrus Anaesthesia gas filter canister features a poly laminated wipe-clean outer surface and is easily connected to any anaesthetic apparatus via the 22mm male connector.
In normal clinical conditions, the Covetrus Anaesthesia gas filter canister will provide between 6 and 18 hours of adsorptive capacity. This is dependent on the gas flow and concentration of organic anaesthetic agent utilised. The use of a holder/weighing device is recommended, however the filter can be used free standing. The filter should be disconnected after 200 grams of weight gain.
Each coconut activated carbon filter is supplied in a distinctive blue polythene bag and packed in a strong printed outer case containing six filters.
