Circumstances may arise when the client wishes to return goods that have been purchased from Provet/VetQuip. The following credit policy outlines Provet’s position on products returned for credit.
We ask that Provet be notified within 7 days of receipt of goods which are to be considered for return or credit. Please email a copy of the tax invoice the products were purchased on to your local Provet Customer Service team. This allows for prompt follow up and processing of the credit by our Customer Service team.
Before a credit note is approved, the products being returned will need to be assessed.
Products will be deemed NON-RETURNABLE under the following criteria:
- Goods in an unsaleable condition due to the following reasons:
- Broken seals
- Open or Damaged Packages
- Price marked or dispensing labels attached
- Goods for which a client cannot submit satisfactory evidence of purchase from Provet.
- Goods with an insufficient expiry date or products with an expired use by date (this excludes items that may have been sent by Provet with insufficient dating)
- Goods which have deteriorated due to improper storage.
- Goods purchased to achieve promotional rewards.
- Non-stock items and special purchases (i.e. selected merchandise or special orders).
Warranty & Liabilities
Provet, as a veterinary wholesaler, holds no responsibility for goods which are deemed to be faulty from the manufacturer. Provet will provide support on the claim process for the relevant manufacturer.
Please Note:
- All products must be returned to Provet within 30 days from date of invoice.
- All S8 products must be packed appropriately for return, without labels or reference to an S8 product inside the carton. S8 products can be returned with other products requiring a credit, via Provet contracted drivers.
- A freight fee of $15.00 and a restocking fee of $5 will be applied per credit note for clinic error. The freight and restocking fee will not be charged as a result of Provet error.
Except as otherwise stated above, goods returned for credit will be at the sole discretion of Provet. Provet has no obligation to accept goods without first inspection.

Returns Safety Notice
To comply with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, please ensure that all equipment and units being returned to VetQuip are thoroughly wiped down with disinfectant and that units requiring water are fully drained and all water removed.
